Welcome to the Advancement Office of at the College of Coastal Georgia. This multi-faceted department fosters, promotes and advances the work of students, faculty and the College of Coastal Georgia Foundation through its functions of development, marketing, communications and special events.

Mission Statement:
The Advancement Office at College of Coastal Georgia fosters, promotes and advances the work of students, faculty and the Foundation of College of Coastal Georgia through its functions of development, marketing, communications and special events. The staff seeks to accomplish this in an ethical, caring, courteous and efficient manner.

Development
The Advancement Office develops funding from corporations, foundations and private donors and manages a program to recognize these donors. Gifts that are raised through a variety of appeals and donor cultivation efforts are used to fund scholarships for students, support faculty and provide for other campus needs. The College is most grateful for contributions.

Marketing and Public Relations
The Advancement Office staff serves as the information officers of the College. Responsibilities include maintaining a strong brand presence, merchandising the achievements of students and faculty, attracting applicants for the variety of programs offered and promoting educational, cultural and recreational events that are open to the community.

In addition to public relations and advertising, the Advancement Office also produces and distributes information through The Campus Connection publication for College faculty, staff and retirees; Semester Schedules distributed through major area newspapers; The Mariners' Log newsletter distributed to external and internal audiences Fall and Spring semesters; and coordinates the college.

Special Events
The Advancement Office staff coordinates special events and receptions pertaining to the College of Coastal Georgia Foundation.
