College Nursing Graduates Garner Top Scores and Jobs

Brunswick, GA – A member of the Registry for College and University Presidents and retired licensed psychologist, Dr. Lance W. Carluccio, has been named Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs for the coming academic year as the College of Coastal Georgia continues a national search to fill the administrative position.

“I look forward to this coming academic year working in a community that truly cares about students and wants them to be successful,” Dr. Carluccio said.

Prior to accepting the position at Coastal Georgia, Dr. Carluccio served as a consultant and educator in higher education. From 2006 to 2012, he was Vice President for Academic Affairs and then President of Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts. His experience in higher education spans forty years, from professor to college president, including department and graduate program directorships and dean of universities in Missouri and Rhode Island.

Dr. Carluccio earned his B.A. in psychology at Yale University and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut with major emphasis in rehabilitation psychology.

The stated mission of the Registry for College and University Presidents is “to provide experienced interim leadership that will maximize the opportunities and fulfill the priorities established for the period of leadership transition.”
