Campus Life at the College of Coastal Georgia encourages student development through partnerships with both on and off campus partners. Coastal Georgia partners serve as an invaluable resource for on campus event programming as well as within the greater Brunswick area. The events and programs run throughout the academic year and support students’ intellectual, cultural, social, personal, and professional growth.
Campus Life is a combined unit of staff members from Recreation/Wellness and Student Life. The staff have served in various roles including but not limited to club member/officer, student athlete, student assistant, and/or graduate assistant throughout their college careers. With a passion for student involvement and development, the staff implement best practices, work flexible hours to meet the interests of a diverse student body, and train student leaders in support of the overall mission.
Campus Life strives to provide an integrated, educational experience that cultivates skills and habits of mind, inspiring students to lead lives of exploration, meaning, purpose, and social responsibility. The area supports the College’s efforts to provide an enriching experience for 3,000+ undergraduate students outside of the classroom. The unit works closely with campus partners such as Residence Life/Housing, Well-Being and Support, Campus Community and Belonging, Dining Services, and Public Safety, to improve the student experience.
With programming efforts across campus, offices are located in the Campus Center (2nd Floor – Student Life) and the Student Activity Center (SAC-Recreation/Wellness).
