College to Welcome Parents and High School Students on Wed., May 30 @ 6 p.m.
As the school year comes to a close for Glynn County, a new window of opportunity is opening for many local students.
To introduce high school students and their parents and guardians to the Dual Enrollment program (formerly Move On When Ready), the College of Coastal Georgia is hosting an information night on Wednesday, May 30 at 6 p.m. Check in will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Campus Center on the College’s Brunswick campus.
Dual Enrollment is a program that allows qualified local high school students to earn college credits, experience campus life at the College of Coastal Georgia, and explore new academic opportunities—all while earning their high school diplomas. Dual enrollment is available completely free of charge to participants—no application fee, no tuition cost, and free textbooks.
Attendees at the Wednesday night event will have the opportunity to learn more about the program, explore their students’ eligibility, speak with an admissions counselor, and hear from a student who has participated in and benefited from the program.
