What will I learn?
In addition to the core data science courses, the Healthcare Analytics concentration provides students with the health informatics background necessary to understand the methods commonly used in health-related analytics. The courses that cover these concepts include Human Biology, Medical Terminology, Foundations in Health Informatics, Overview of US Healthcare System, Classifications and Terminologies, and Healthcare Data Analysis.
What can I do when I graduate?
Healthcare providers and institutions are continuously seeking ways to improve diagnosis and treatment techniques, but, as businesses, they are also seeking ways to have more cost-effective and efficient processes.
