The College of Coastal Georgia is proud to partner with the Georgia Film Academy (GFA) to provide students with hands-on training in film and television production. The GFA is a state-wide collaboration between the University System of Georgia (USG), the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), and entertainment industry leaders to provide professional courses in film and television production, digital entertainment, esports, and game development.
The GFA was created by state leaders to meet the educational and workforce requirements of Georgia’s thriving entertainment industry. The GFA higher education program provides extensive professional training and may lead to union-covered jobs within creative industries.
The College offers a Certificate in Film and Television Production through the GFA. Courses are conducted off-campus at locations around Georgia with many classes held in Savannah or Atlanta.
