  • Friendraise: As friendraisers for the College, we will bring friends and alumni to College activities and programs to build a network of support for the Alumni Association and the College.

  • Fundraise: As fundraisers for the College, we will reach out to those of influence and affluence and endorse the College vision.

  • Example: As examples, we will make a personal financial commitment to the College prior to asking others to participate in gifting, while also participating in and supporting initiatives set forth by the Coastal Georgia Alumni Association.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Association is comprised of dedicated and energetic alumni who are committed to being involved in resource development.
  • Provide volunteer leadership for the planning and implementation of the College’s resource development through active friendraising, fundraising, and alumni engagement programming.
  • Advocate for giving through the board member’s own financial commitment and personal network for annual gifts, planned gifts, ongoing major gifts, and/or pledges during periodic major gift campaigns.
  • Financially support at least one Alumni Association campaign or event each year.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising and alumni engagement efforts, providing feedback.
