Freshman Admissions Requirements

A freshman applicant is one who has not previously attended a regionally accredited college or university after high school graduation. You are considered a freshman for admissions purposes if you:

  • Are a graduating senior in a high school or a home school program or
  • Graduated less than five years ago and you have not started college yet or
  • Earned qualifying scores on the GED, HiSET or TASC and would have graduated in the past five years

At Coastal Georgia, we understand that every student’s academic path is unique, and we encourage you to connect with an admissions counselor in the Office of Admissions to assist you throughout the enrollment process. We are dedicated to the success of every student, every time, and we want to make sure you have a seamless transition to Coastal Georgia.
