College to Celebrate Ethics Awareness Week Nov. 4-10

The University System of Georgia (USG) highlights its commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards of conduct through an annual Ethics Awareness Week. This year, Ethics Awareness Week is scheduled for November 4-10, with the theme “Spirit of USG.”

The College of Coastal Georgia, along with the other 25 USG institutions, will host activities throughout the week to promote the shared core values of integrity, excellence, accountability, and respect.

The activities for Ethics Awareness Week at the College are as follows:

Monday, November 4

•          Daily Ethics Trivia Starts – sponsored by Business Affairs

•          Ethics of Belonging – Video Recording – sponsored by Office of Campus Community & Belonging

•          Athletic Website Ethic Statement

•          10:00 am – 11:00 am Chancellor’s Event – Ethics in Higher Education Beyond Compliance -Chancellor Sony Perdue and Keynote Speaker Honorable Nels S.D. Peterson, Georgia Supreme Court
